AML / KYC Policy
Last updated: November 29, 2025
This Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Customer (“AML / KYC”) Policy describes the measures LeCryptio takes to reduce the risk that our Service is used for money laundering, terrorism financing or other illicit activities.
1. General principles
LeCryptio is committed to:
- Preventing the use of its infrastructure for illegal purposes
- Acting in accordance with applicable AML / CTF requirements, where relevant
- Cooperating with competent authorities within the limits of applicable law
2. Customer identification (KYC)
Depending on the nature, volume and risk profile of your activity, we may ask you to provide additional information and documents to verify your identity or business details.
This may include, for example:
- Full legal name and contact details
- Business registration information
- Proof of address or corporate documents
- Information about the nature of your business and expected volume
We may refuse to open or may close accounts where we cannot complete the necessary checks to our satisfaction.
3. Monitoring and risk-based approach
We apply a risk-based approach and may monitor activity on the Service for unusual or suspicious patterns, such as:
- Unusual payment volume or frequency
- Patterns inconsistent with the stated business model
- Frequent use of high-risk networks, services or jurisdictions
- Links to addresses or entities flagged in sanctions or watch lists
Where credible suspicion arises, we may request additional information, restrict features, temporarily suspend activity or close accounts.
4. Sanctions and high-risk jurisdictions
We do not knowingly facilitate activity involving individuals, entities or jurisdictions that are subject to applicable sanctions, or that we consider to present an unacceptable AML / CTF risk.
We reserve the right to refuse, block or reverse activity associated with such risks where technically and legally feasible.
5. Reporting and cooperation
Where required by applicable law, we may report suspicious activity to competent authorities. We may also respond to lawful requests for information, subject to our privacy obligations.
6. Responsibilities of merchants and users
By using LeCryptio, you agree not to use the Service for money laundering, terrorism financing, fraud or any other illegal purpose. You must:
- Provide accurate information when requested
- Cooperate with any reasonable AML / KYC checks
- Comply with AML / CTF obligations applicable to your own business
7. Changes to this Policy
We may update this AML / KYC Policy as our processes evolve or as legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date will indicate the latest version.
